What White-Glove Means

A moving company built around the things most movers can’t handle

Every move we take on is run by a named coordinator, staffed with a crew trained for the items involved, and planned from the first conversation to the last piece of placed furniture.

01

Portland Local, Owner-Operated

Not a multi-city chain. Not a franchise. We live here, we hire here, and our crews behave like guests in your home.

02

Built Around Specialty Items

Fine art, antiques, pianos, and wine collections aren’t add-ons — they’re the work. Our packers are trained in custom crating on-site.

03

Discretion by Default

Unmarked trucks, NDAs for crew on sensitive moves, coordinators who don’t discuss client work. Standard options, not upcharges.

Craft & Care

We protect your home before we touch your furniture

White-glove isn’t a label — it’s a sequence of small, disciplined acts that most movers skip.

Floor Protection First

Runners laid from the truck to every room before a single box moves. Your hardwoods and carpets never see a boot.

Wrapped, Not Wedged

Every piece of upholstery and wood furniture gets shrink-wrapped in place. Blanket pads stay blanket pads — no shortcuts.

Disassembled with Care

Doors off when needed. Bed frames broken down by the crew, not rushed through doorways. Hardware bagged and labeled.

The Concierge Process

Six steps. One coordinator. Start to finish.

1

In-Home Walkthrough

Your coordinator visits both residences, documents high-value items, confirms access and timing.

2

Written Plan & Inventory

Detailed plan covering crew size, materials, crating, COIs, elevator reservations, and schedule.

3

Pre-Move Preparation

Custom crates built. Building management coordinated. Permits pulled. Logistics handled.

4

Moving Day

Uniformed, background-checked, W-2 crew. Floors and doorways protected before a box moves.

5

Placement & Walkthrough

Furniture placed to your floor plan. Art positioned. Final walkthrough in person.

6

Post-Move Follow-Up

A coordinator checks in 48 hours after the move.

FAQs

What premium buyers ask before booking

What makes white-glove different from full-service moving?

A full-service mover packs and transports your belongings. A white-glove mover treats your belongings as the point of the job — custom crating for fragile pieces, named coordinators, home protection, and placement at the destination rather than a drop-off.

How do you handle high-value or fragile items?

Every high-value piece is documented in a written inventory before the move. Fragile and oversized items are custom-crated on-site by our own crew. For the highest-value pieces, we offer declared-value coverage above our base insurance.

Do you provide COIs for high-rise and luxury buildings?

Yes. We carry the coverage that Portland’s luxury buildings require and issue COIs in the building manager’s required format, typically within 48 hours of booking.

What discretion measures do you offer?

Unmarked trucks on request. NDAs for crew. Coordinators who don’t discuss client work. Staged or after-hours scheduling. Standard options, not upcharges.

How far in advance should we book?

2–4 weeks for standard moves, 6+ weeks for peak-season or specialty relocations.

Start With a Walkthrough

Every move begins with a one-hour in-home walkthrough with your coordinator — no obligation, no sales pressure. You’ll leave with a written estimate, a crew plan, and clear answers about what your move will cost and how it will run.
